Jerry Agar is the afternoon host on KMBZ in Kansas City. Jerry is a radio veteran who was a morning DJ on music stations all over America and Canada until he took over the afternoon talk show at WPTF in Raleigh, NC in January of 2000. Each of the past three years he has been listed as one of the Top 100 Talk Show Hosts in America by Talker's magazine and was Radio and Records magazine's Rising Talk Star of 2004. Those accolades brought him to the attention of KMBZ and we brought him in to do the midday show. After 9 months he moved to afternoons.
